…unless you have organic milk to go with them.
Puns and pugs. Penguins and protracturtles. Welcome to the world of Kicking Cones, created by the witty Katrina Constantine. I recently chatted with the Orlando-based artist about her work, her heroes, and our hometown’s art scene. Check it!

Here is an interview I did with the wonderful Maria Delis, a local writer/publicist. Check it out!
There’s nothing to it but to do it.
Commission for a friend who likes penguins and planes!
I have no news—I just wanted to say hello!
…and tell you that drawing Amelia Pond Penguin is pretty difficult. But necessary and happening!
Have a wonderful day, my friends.
Turtle takes no crap from the Internet.
My badfrica.
Cherryphant is doing it right.
Preach it, Caterpillar. The world could use some love right now.
If I were an octopus.
Based on a true story. He actually floats. And that’s actually what my dog looks like.
Wil Wheaton was so incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. We were lucky enough to meet him about 6 seconds before he had to leave for his flight after MegaCon. We ran over like madmen and jumped last in line. I gave him a Dalek print that I made for him, and despite his exhausting weekend, he was as excited as can be and gave us all a big hug for the picture.
And Frogman, well, that goes without saying. He’s so cool and nice, he’s not even real. I’m beyond lucky to have him as a friend.
Athena, Wil, Trina, and Froggie. Best. Sandwich. Ever.
The late bird gets pizza.
MegaCon went at least 38024370924 times better than I could have ever hoped for.
I met the NICEST, most amazing, hilarious, and creative people.
I also got to finally meet the girls from sogeekchic.com (love them and their blog), as well as a lot of Frogman’s tumblr friends (woo!), and Wil Wheaton (that was the cherry on top of an amazing weekend).
A bunch of my friends came to my rescue to help things go as smoothly as possible. So I want to give a special thanks to my cousin Athena, my coworker and sick artist, Ruperto (<— check out his art blog), my friends Lindsey, Megan, and Aleks who can tell when I’m lying when I say “It’s okay, I don’t need help,” haha, Jon Lewis from Jon Lewis Draws Things, and last but not least, Allison who got me drawing again and pushed me to do it all in the first place.
Also, thank you to everyone I met and talked to and to those who went out of their way to find me on Tumblr and Facebook! If I could hug you all at once, I would.
